SORRY ITS SO LONG I HAVE A LARGE OPINION ON HS

• High school is really not that bad horrible, it will feel/be very overwhelming . 

1. Over All High school Gives Me Mixed Feelings So Far

•  Upper men aren't a bother actually. You will find that they just have other things to do and won't bother you if you don't bother them. 

1. If Upper man Do Mess With You Don't Punk Out Or You Will BE Labeled Chicken Or Something Dumb FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE A LOT AT MY SCHOOL DON'T BE TO NICE / TO MEAN .

• Get friendly with upperclassmen. Another great leg-up in high school is if you know any older kids at the school. If you have an older sibling that you actually like who will look out for you, a neighbor, or even a friend of the family who goes to the high school, this person can be a great help to you, along with being your friend. 

1. I Know ALOT Of Upperclassmen Because (a) My Siblings (b) Classes Such As Electives And Those Are Great People To Know

• Try out different social groups. Though you may be worried about finding the place and group where you really fit in right away, you should explore your options as much as you can. There will be the popular kids, the nerds, the cool nerds, the jocks, the stoners, and all of the other groups you may come to expect -- but you don't have to neatly fit into one category. Don't jump to conclusions and get to know as many people as you can first.

1. I Don't Have A Group But I Can Tell That They're There . I Wanted To Be In The Art Club I Think I'm Going To Do It.

• Avoid dating for a while. Though you may have met your dream lover in your first period physical science class, you should hold off before you start sending him any love notes. If you get wrapped up in a high school relationship right away, you won't have time to branch out, make friends, and figure out what the heck actually makes you happy. Also, let's face it: 98% of high school relationships don't last, so you could put yourself in an awkward situation when you break up and all you have are mutual friends.

1. Sad To Say I'm In A Relationship ( Low Key ) And I Just Started High school A Month Ago . And I Am Unhappy With Who I'm With And How They Act . I jumped into a relationship TOO FAST .

• And if you do date, be smart. Don't do anything that you're not comfortable with, and make sure to be savvy about sexual education.

1. My ( Low key ) Bf Has Tried To Do Somethings But I Let Him Know That That's A NO NO

• Find one friend in each class. Just knowing one person in each class will make you feel much less adrift. On the first or second day of school, say hi to a person sitting next to you and strike up a conversation.

1. I Did This But We Drifted Apart After About 2 weeks :((

• Find your lunch table. 

1. I Was Very Scared About Lunch Going Into HS because i had went to a different school from all of my known friends that where in the same grade and didn't know anyone but when the first day came turns out I DIDN'T EAT LUNCH . :)) i actually sat with my sis and her friends from our old school in the gym .

• Don't obsess over your image. This may sound like it's nearly impossible during your first year of high school, but you should remember that everyone is obsessing over what people think, over how popular they are, over how they look in their new pair of shoes, and so on.

1. OMG GUYS !!! People will judge you so much off what they don't know but don't let them get to you . PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS TALK ! YOU CANT STOP PEOPLE FROM TALKING ! don't let them talk about you to your face if they do come to you then you have to stop them . My Mom Told Me " That if you don't stop someone from doing something they'll keep going / doing it !" 

• Don't be a jerk to your teachers. You may think that it's cool and funny to be mean to your chemistry teacher, but when your midterm grade rolls around and your C+ was not rounded to a B-, you'll have another think coming. Though you won't love all of your teachers, it greatly benefits you to be friendly to them, show up to their classes on time, and to act interested in course material.

1. I Have 2 Honors Classes One Is Math ( which i love ) and the other is English ( which i hate because that's my worst subject -.- ) Do Not Be Horrible In Class Its Kinda Okay To Have Fun In Class Just Don't Go Over Board An Get In Trouble

• Do your homework. This should be obvious, but it isn't. Don't do your homework on the bus on the morning of school, or in homeroom, either. Take the time to diligently do your homework right after school, in study hall, or when you get home after extra-curricular activities. Make sure that you really get it done instead of just doing the bare minimum and forgetting key information.

1. Don't Fall Behind On Work Because Once You Do Its Hard To Catch Up. This Is Hard For Me Because I Chill with upperclassman after school and HW is really not a problem because i go to a bad high school which doesn't give me a lot of HW when i do get hw i do it in the morning or lunch

• Avoid the "everything folder" at all costs. 

1. i actually think this helps and avoids throwing key stuff away .

• Don't be too cool to be smart. Seriously. 

1. There are smart popular people so don't think your to cool to be smart !

• Try a sport. Join a club or two.

1. I cant do sports because i have arthritis & bad ankles, i would again like to join the art club

• Make sure you're familiar with each teacher's policy on gum, water, and food in their class. It might turn out to be a life-saver if your teacher after gym doesn't mind you having bottled water.
• Keep your skin clean and smell nice. People aren't going to want to be around you if you stink.

1. PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF EVERYONE ELSE WHO IS STUCK IN A CLASS WITH YOU

• We all send the occasional text message during class, but avoid, at all costs, eagle eyes of a teacher. Some teachers may only warn you; some may take your phone for the period; and some may even hang onto it for the whole day. Don’t let this happen to you!
• Don’t try to be something you are not. Posers are never well respected. 
• If you ever become a target for a bully, don't be afraid to stick up for yourself and or report to a counselor/principal. If you just hide, the bully will stay and make your freshman year miserable.

1. sometimes you need to stop things yourself sometime sits not in your power to stop them . 

• Avoid drama. This cannot be stressed enough. Don't start anything, but don't back down, either. Only step in when you or your friend is concerned.

1. Do AVOID DRAMA BUT WHEN DRAMA COMES TO YOU DON'T BACK DOWN EVEN IF THEY'RE INTIMIDATING . IF YOU HAVE TO FIGHT JUST TO STAND UP FOR YOURSELF THEN DO JUST THAT ( AND IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU WIN OR LOSE JUST DON'T GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT )

     I just started Highschool about a month ago, and it has already been alot. Highschool is a big responsibility. I know you want to be social and have fun but dont let your social life interfer with your education(But overwork yourself!)

     I'll post tips on here later that help me manage myself throughout my freshman year.
